I had such good intentions when I started this. Needless to say, life sometimes has other plans. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so let this explain my absence. :) Those who know me know how she snuck in and shook up my world. I'll share the details with everyone else soon.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU9Z3dZCsIOdjux2SfcIylF_6PmeJc68TXc-bHB_aVd6_898wU0AexoDdKG5wvl_4c5supPd38-a7dbBzEocboKSDcWI3nSDP3grytzCaSt0Nj8QLyX-VkyXciDq2NyLh-jMzehHPTwWE/s320/New+Pickle+Quilt+2.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259719982894287650" />Chelleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13888079752008474161noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64198962961908288.post-38028549402089567602007-03-09T20:33:00.002-08:002008-12-11T10:47:06.821-08:00Finished Quilt Top<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6Uwf6ylNb3kNUcy8Di-5T5VBhtupfCuIFCfz-eDtZHFn8R_UkQOop_t8YswRwctwkrtDeOatl_yVjhw9BHiPxSEsXzp13n_6i9P2x6chHfvQyjeMjstkgBJrCVltEmx7LrsriXI_LXkw/s320/My+Quilt+2.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5040150245304684722" />
I saw this quilt on an episode of Will & Grace and knew I had to have it. I sat up in bed that night sketching it out so that I could remember what it looked like. I thought it would be easy to make. HA! A beginning quilter should NOT try to make a quilt without a pattern! It didn't turn out exactly as planned, but it's finished and I like it. I'm still working on the back and hoping to get it to the quilter tomorrow.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8ndAEfySr94098Ciasu_WzJZGd7bJcloboBSqOzHcxiqY4quzYYUhrtEwSKO6mofj0JN7b1QkCL1RFsofZD4CLEp8y9smWMj-e6MVbGmppU3IwWqT-yVZrJnvgC6X0Fybkj28doeZ5TE/s320/My+Quilt.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5040149910297235618" />Chelleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13888079752008474161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64198962961908288.post-27654491799033043122007-03-09T15:08:00.000-08:002008-12-11T10:47:07.277-08:00First Signs of Spring in Franklin, TNThe weather is gorgeous in Franklin this weekend! I went out to check the mail and this little cutie surprised me sticking up out of the ground. I planted about 200 bulbs in my front yard and most of them are starting to poke up. It should be really pretty around here in a few weeks.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFWP0qa-Gx95lATg93B22vJj5nt4fdFi9eynYCxu97I4k-6ntc7wT5ynwDMg8769z0Al9ZRdeXdO0gBiPog6S4wRMrI4gFg8gmyndCqh5Abe5ogEZu7WBpo9SnE6MZLm2Waw1emos04H0/s320/Spring+Flower.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5040067214996918402" />

The quilt shop also had some fun Spring blooms. I bought this little flowerpot full of 4.5" squares. The blue butterfly fabric is the outer border and the orange strip is the inner border. The kit also came with a package of flower seeds. Fun fun!

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_zmpuaPtDB833K0S1KCPVw3zq9LUIiGoJVdw2oaq0dn3L7elvOsNwys9WmRkgs6-aZlNMQZrQOO8TpNZNDJ10ORM_1LbE_YoI7cSfYsauC2xtlfe8nqpwpLL-wTqngt6NVYkRr4BAU8g/s320/Flower+Pot+Quilt+Kit.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5040067764752732306" />Chelleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13888079752008474161noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-64198962961908288.post-36277989255932755942007-03-06T23:58:00.000-08:002008-12-11T10:47:07.443-08:00Work in Progress<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDqWc5_6ZzO5QQkoMFTtA5SWbEE_oVd5GYv_c4cRkyJX119uK7uqE7SG3tAxU9BPE1r322TCEBoW7OTrfH-YYLe0UWLQHR8o70yykq-HyfYcoaKgDffPnxY4l6zR92pg5LDvZMbgArxbw/s320/Noah's+Ark+Blocks.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5039089172147514098" />Chelleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13888079752008474161noreply@blogger.com1
